The 7th grade A team played Bastrop in their first game of the day and won with a score of 49-6. The second tournament game was played against Seguin AJB Middle School. The Lady Apaches defeated the Lady Toros with a score of 46-18. This win promoted the Lady Apaches into the championship game against San Marcos Goodnight MS. The Lady Apaches caged the Lady Rattlers with a score of 45-23 to win first place in the tournament and win the district title. The Lady Apaches ended their season with an undefeated record of 11-0. 
Amaris Johnson and Ellie Lester were the top offensive players for the tournament. Maggie Farrar, Izabella Balderas, and Kamari Smith were the top defensive players of the tournament. Honorable mention goes out to Riley Kainer and Madelyn Mills. The grade A team’s record this season was 8-0 In the district, it is 11-0 for the season. Congratulations on an undefeated season!!
