    Thought of the week:

    Integrity

Choosing courage over comfort, choosing what is right over what is fun, fast, or easy, and choosing to practice our values rather than simply professing them.  -Brene Brown

  • The purpose of TIA is to support districts in independently building and sustaining strategic compensation systems that differentiate teacher effectiveness.  These systems will incentivize teachers to stay, support more robust recruitment, and make the profession more desirable. This program will support Gonzales ISD's Strategic Vision for 2022-2027 with goal area 3 Recruiting, Inducting, and Retaining High-Quality Staff.

  • Gonzales ISD has been accepted for the eligible teaching assignments in Prek-8th grade teachers who teach RLA and Math.  At Gonzales High School, qualified teaching assignments are Algebra 1, Eng I, and English II.  GISD is in the cohort F timeline. GISD will capture data this year using Circles (CPALS) for PreK and MAP (Measure Academic Progress) for Kinder-HS.  If you have any questions, please get in touch with me by email or phone. Gonzales ISD is a destination district committed to Growing Greatness! Our Students. Our Future.
