A proud alumna of Gonzales High School, Amanda has served Gonzales ISD for 15 years. Before assuming the role of Chief Financial Officer in 2016 after her mentor's retirement, Amanda served in various roles in the financial services office, most recently as the district's Business Manager. You may recognize her from her time spent serving the Gonzales community through the local Rotary Club (past secretary & interim treasurer), the Gonzales Area Development Corporation, or from the choir loft of her childhood church. She also serves on the TASBO/TEA Accounting & Auditing Advisory Committee.

When not at work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband (also a GHS graduate), two daughters, and Australian Shepherd. They regularly worship at the First Methodist Church of Gonzales, where Amanda serves on the finance committee, the children's ministry team, is the chairperson of the scholarship committee, and shares her gift of music through singing and providing flute accompaniment - a skill she learned from Gonzales ISD. 

Her husband and love of learning inspired her to pursue an MBA from her alma mater. While serving at Gonzales ISD, Amanda has earned many certifications in her field. 

Amanda is proud that she gets to raise her family in the wonderful town she grew up in. To some, it may just be numbers, but she seeks every day to positively impact the district, community, and its people. She is excited and thankful for the opportunity to serve her hometown through the best career there is - public education!
