Leaves & Absences

  • The district offers employees paid and unpaid leaves of absence in times of personal need. 

    Any employee who is absent more than three days because of a personal or family illness must submit an excuse from a qualified health care provider confirming the specific dates of the illness, the reason for the illness, and in the case of personal illness, the employee's fitness to return to work.

    Any employee who is absent more than five days because of a personal or family illness, including pregnancy-related disability, please schedule a leave of absence consultation by filling out the Employee Request for Leave via TalentEd Records ⇒ Available Forms.

Employee Absences Due to Emergency Closing

  • In the event of an emergency delayed start or early release, employees should make arrangements with their supervisors to reschedule any time missed.

    In the event of an emergency, full day closure, employees instructed by administration not to report to work will not have to reschedule any time missed and will not have to use accrued paid leave for any absence.
