• Gonzales North Avenue (3rd-5th Grades):

    These grade levels will have a three-week long referral period around the month of September of each school year. Letters will be sent home with each child explaining exact dates. Testing will immediately follow. Students who are tested will receive an acceptance/denial letter prior to the end of the 1st semester. Students will begin receiving services at the start of the 2nd semester.

    Gonzales Elementary School (1st-2nd Grades):

    These grade levels will have a three-week long referral period around the month of October of each school year. Letters will be sent home with each child explaining exact dates. Testing will immediately follow. Students who are tested will receive an acceptance/denial letter prior to the end of the 1st semester.  Students will begin receiving services at the start of the 2nd semester.

    Gonzales Elementary School (Kindergarten):

    This grade level will have a three-week long referral period around the months of November-December of each school year. Letters will be sent home with each child explaining exact dates. Testing will immediately follow in January. Students who are tested will receive an acceptance/denial letter before March 1. Kinder students will begin receiving services around the start of the 5th 6 weeks.       

    Gonzales Junior High (6th-8th Grades):

    These grade levels will have a three-week long referral period around the months of February-March of each school year. Letters will be sent home with each child explaining exact dates. Testing will immediately follow. Students who are tested will receive an acceptance/denial letter before the end of the school year. Students will begin receiving services at the start of the following school year.

    Gonzales High School (9th-12th Grades):

    These grade levels will have a three-week long referral period around the months of February-March of each school year. Letters will be sent home with each child explaining exact dates. Testing will immediately follow. Students who are tested will receive an acceptance/denial letter before the end of the school year. Students will begin receiving services at the start of the following school year.
