Hello! My name is Ms. Nikki Nerada! I am so excited about serving as principal of Gonzales Elementary! 

I am beginning my 21st year in Gonzales ISD. Among so many others, I have poured my heart and soul into our community and look forward to celebrating our success together each year! 

I am beginning my fourth year as principal at GISD. Prior to that, I was a classroom teacher from 2002 - 2014, an assistant principal from 2014 - 2018, and currently the principal since 2018. It's been amazing to witness the students and staff at GE grow in the eyes of each of my positions here.

Kids are my LIFE. My passion is to see children grow and develop. And I am very proud to be a part of the children's lives in Gonzales, Texas. 

I have two sons - 17 and 14 years old. That is why my heart beats each day. I live my life wanting to be better for them. We love spending time fishing, playing all the sports...but baseball is life, cooking, hanging out at the beach, and just being together! My favorite hobbies are reading, napping, and being by the pool!
